In 2013 Spring, We were in a lobbying trip to meet with the child rights advocates in Europe. We had meetings with the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child in Geneva and discussed the importance of having a community-based committee to supervise the “.kids” gTLD. We also met with Save the Children Switzerland, UNICEF and NGO Group for the Convention on the Rights of the Child in Geneva, Children’s Parliament and Children’s Lobby in Bern, EuroChild and a Member of the European Parliament, Amelia Andersdotter in Brussels, ChildNet and Business & Human Rights Resource Center in London to share our initiative of creating a kids-friendly internet.
