DotKids Foundation attended the annual meeting for the U.S. Campaign to Ratify the Convention on the Rights of the Child in September 2013, we are delighted to meet with many of our like-minded groups and individuals at the meeting and shared our vision on building safe internet for kids through the “.kids” domain.
During the advocacy trips in United States in September and November, we visited our Child Right Partners there, including The Association for Childhood Education International (ACEI), Child Welfare League of America (CWLA) and First Focus, discussing the importance of securing a safe and nurturing online space for children. Meanwhile, we also met representatives from UNICEF, International Child Art Foundation, International Humanist and Ethical Union and World Bank to share our concerns.
